TVES is a community of emotionally intelligent thinkers and communicators who use learning to drive self and societal improvement.

Emotionally Intelligent: capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships successfully and empathetically. Societal improvement: individuals or groups taking action to address local, national, or global issues of concern/injustice in an effort to improve conditions for others and make society a better place for all.

Thinker: one who thinks deeply, reflectively and comprehensively, considering multiple perspectives/options carefully.

Communicator: one who is able to convey or exchange information, ideas, and thoughts with respect and clarity.

Self-improvement: is the bettering of one's knowledge, habits, or character by one's own efforts. It's the quest to make ourselves better academically, socially, and emotionally.
